The Value of Crisis

If you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn’t much to you in the first place. — Proverbs 24:10 (MSG)

I learned about this scripture during last Sunday’s service, and it really struck me. It’s a powerful reminder that who we truly are is revealed when we’re tested by crisis.

Since then, I’ve been thinking a lot about resilience. Resilience isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s essential. Challenges are inevitable, and those who succeed are the ones who can navigate them without falling apart.

Successful people have mastered the art of thriving in crisis. There is no success without facing challenges. The ability to remain steady and focused, even when things get messy, is what sets truly effective people apart.

Instead of trying to avoid problems, crises, or chaos, I’m learning that I need to embrace them, and use them as a weapon of growth.
